DEKOR® uses only aircraft grade aluminum (6061-T6) for our balusters, which makes them the strongest, most robust baluster you can purchase. Competitor’s balusters are so thin and soft you can actually bend them over your knee, not ours. Their diameter is also smaller with them actually fitting inside of ours.
Available in the most popular length sizes and since we are the manufacturer, you can call us for any custom length you need. Our powder coated finishes are the envy of the market. We apply our finishes in our own powder coating facility. This allows us to provide superior finishes that are thicker and more eye appealing than other foreign made balusters. Our balusters achieve the highest standard in materials, workmanship, welding, and finishes that others are not able to duplicate.
At DEKOR® we know that corrosion on the inside of balusters happens almost from day one. To make sure our baluster last, they are all Alodine™ coated (inside and outside) prior to powder coating. The premium powders we use are rated “Super Durable” which means they will retain their color longer even under the harshest weather and sunlight conditions.

Made of Alodine Coated Aircraft Grade Aluminum
We found the best material for balusters is aluminum. But not just any aluminum, it had to be the best aluminum available. We chose 6061-T6 grade which is use extensively in the aircraft and aerospace industry where its weight to strength ratio is phenomenal. Remember the condensation that forms inside? Well condensation means rust or oxidation. Rusting means the baluster is being eaten from the inside out and you will never know it is happening. Well we know it is happening and to make sure our balusters are as bullet-proof as we can make them, each and every baluster is dipped into Alodine. Alodine is used to coat not only the outside but more importantly the inside surface of the baluster. This coating provides superior paint adhesion together with corrosion resistance giving the longevity your need for outdoor environments.

Thicker, More Durable Powder Coating
At DEKOR™ we cut no corners in making baluster products. We use the finest materials, all welding is done in-house, and we own the powder coating company. Our coatings are thicker than anything you will find elsewhere. Our coatings measure 4-7 mils in thickness, competitors are 2-3 mils. That’s right our balusters have twice the powder coating thickness of that of our competitors. Our coatings have been specifically formulated for UV protection allowing us have the industry leading warranty for performance year after year.
