Privacy Policy

DEKOR Lighting has built the DEKOR WiFi Remote app as a free app to enhance the functionality of DEKOR’s EZ WiFi Dimmer. This service is for use as is. If you choose to use our service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.  The Personal Information we collect in the app is used for providing and improving the service. We do not and will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

To use all the features of the app, we require you to create an account.  This account collects certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to an email address, name, and time zone. The information requested is retained on your device and is used as described in this Privacy Policy. The app does use 3rd party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Service Providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals, and utilize third-party cloud services due to the following reasons:
  • To facilitate our service;
  • To provide the service on our behalf;
  • To perform service-related services; or
  • To assist us in analyzing how our service is used.
We want to inform users of this app that these third parties have access to your Personal Information, shared with them to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose. Cloud services, including but not limited to the Alexa Skill and Google Home Action capabilities, are subject to the privacy policy of their respective owners. Once a DEKOR account is linked to a third-party or cloud account, we cannot control how your information is handled by these providers.  Please review their individual privacy policies.
