EZ SINGLE ROCKER SELF-POWERED WIRELESS LIGHT SWITCH
The EZ Wireless Light Switch is easy to install and even easier to operate; simply press the rocker switch lightly to turn lights ON, OFF, or DIM. Now you can control your under cabinet lighting, stair lights, and other DEKOR indoor accent lighting with the flick of a switch, conveniently mounted on any wall in your home.
It looks like a traditional indoor light switch so it will blend in well with your decor, but under the cover is some pretty interesting technology.
First off, the wall switch is self-powered. Self-powered means that it doesn’t need any electrical wires or batteries to work so it’s super easy to install. Sure you can screw it into an existing junction box for convenience … but because it doesn’t require any external power, you can install it practically anywhere with the provided screws, in any wall or surface.
You can even customize the appearance of the wall switch by using the face plate of your choice to the wall adapter.
The wall switch does require an EZ Wireless Wall Receiver to be functional. The receiver can be purchased separately or with a light switch in a kit.
The wireless wall switches are modular so you can have multiple switches controlling the same lights. For the system to work, you need at least one wall switch and one dimmer-receiver
The receiver has a larger cable that plugs into a DEKOR transformer and a smaller output cable that feeds your lights. The receiver only requires it be placed within 150 feet of a wall switch to receive the signal with its built-in antenna.
The DEKOR Single Rocker Self-Powdered Wireless Light Switch is a battery-free transmitter that communicates with the DEKOR Wireless LED Dimmer / Receiver.
How It Works
When the wall switch is pressed, a micro-generator produces a small electric current that powers the built-in transmitter. The transmitter sends a wireless signal that commands the receiver to turn light on or off and controls the dimming of the lights.
By holding the switch on you can customize the light intensity and with an internal memory each time you press the switch it returns to the same setting. There is a simple pairing process for syncing the wall switch or switches to the receiver one time and you’re done.
