5 Lighting Options.
Post caps in each size are available in 5 lighting configurations … or with no lights at all.
The total light output is dependent on the number of LEDs on each illuminated side of the cap. Cap sizes 4 1/8″ and smaller house 4 LEDs on each side, emitting 15 Lumens per illuminated side. Cap sizes 4 9/16″ and larger hold 6 LEDs per side, emitting 25 Lumens per illuminated side.

Our deck post caps with LED lights have the same warm white spectrum as our other lighting and are fully dimmable using the DEKOR® EZ Waterproof Dimmer. Control your post cap light’s brightness and create a welcoming ambiance around your deck.

Our lighted post caps use long-life LEDs with a 10-year warranty. Long-lasting LEDs mean less waste in the long run, and our low-voltage lights use less power, keeping your energy bill low and reducing your lighting set-up’s impact on the environment. Robust Construction
Each post cap is made of heavy-duty cast aluminum. The post caps are Alodine™ coated to resist corrosion prior to powder coating. We use a high-quality powder coat specifically formulated with UV protection for a lasting finish. Our powder coating is done locally at our sister company, Mile High Powder Coating in metro Denver.
Composite Decking Compatible

Our post caps are designed to fit dimensional lumber as well as composite and vinyl post sleeves. They are also compatible with CCA (pressure treated) wood. We have done extensive accelerated testing with the materials we use in our products and have found no degradation or negative effects.
